DJI Flip with DJI RC 2 Remote Vlog Camera Drone Under 249g

Compact Design, Boundless Freedom

A foldable, sub-249g airframe that fits in your palm, wrapped in DJI's first full-coverage propeller guard. Auto-on when you unfold the arms, auto-brake when sensors see an obstacle — built to fly safely with kids, pets, and indoor scenes.

Sub-249g, No FAA Registration

Standard takeoff weight under 249 grams means no FAA registration required for hobby flying in the US. Toss it in your bag, unfold the arms, and go.

Foldable Full-Coverage Propeller Guard

DJI's first drone with a foldable full-coverage propeller guard. Fly closer to people, pets, and indoor environments without worrying about the props or your subject.

3D Infrared Sensing System

Forward and downward 3D infrared sensors detect obstacles and trigger automatic braking — even at night when most vision-based systems struggle.

Palm Takeoff, Auto Power-On

Unfold the rear arms and the drone powers on automatically. Palm-launch directly into a recording session — no remote, no setup, no app required to start filming.

31-Min Max Flight Time

Up to 31 minutes of flight per battery — enough to actually finish a shot list before swapping. Spare batteries are available for longer outings.

Capture Details With Exceptional Quality

A 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, f/1.7 lens, Dual Native ISO Fusion, and 10-bit D-Log M color science. The Flip captures cinematic detail in sunrises, sunsets, and everything between — and transmits it back to you over DJI O4.

1/1.3-Inch CMOS, f/1.7 Aperture

A larger sensor and bright f/1.7 lens pull in more light for cleaner color and stronger low-light performance. 2.4μm 4-in-1 QBC pixels boost sensitivity even further.

4K/60fps HDR Video, 10-bit D-Log M

Smooth 4K at 60 frames per second with HDR plus optional 10-bit D-Log M color preserves dynamic range for serious post-production grading.

4K/100fps Slow Motion

Capture highlight moments at up to 4K/100fps for cinematic slow motion that keeps every detail intact — no resolution drop to get the frame rate.

48MP Photos With Dual Native ISO Fusion

Pull crisp 48MP stills straight from the sensor. Dual Native ISO Fusion improves dynamic range and low-light noise performance in a single shot.

13 km DJI O4 Video Transmission

DJI's flagship O4 video transmission delivers a stable 1080p live feed at up to 13 km (FCC) — long-range flights stay smooth and clear, with all the action right on the DJI RC 2's built-in 5.5-inch screen.

Creativity Takes Flight With One Tap

A side-mounted mode button switches between intelligent shooting presets, and the Flip handles the rest. Subject Tracking acts as your personal director, and a full set of QuickShots, MasterShots, and Hyperlapse modes deliver pro-level footage with one press.

Subject Tracking — Your Personal Director

FocusTrack keeps your subject perfectly framed and in focus — bike rides, walks, parties, kids, pets — all captured without a second pilot.

Mode Button — One-Tap Smart Shots

Press the mode button on the side to switch between intelligent shooting modes. Flip handles the framing, the path, and the recording — you just press once.

Six QuickShots Modes

Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Spotlight, Helix, and Boomerang — preset cinematic flight paths trigger from a single tap. Travel reels and social cutaways without learning a stick combo.

FocusTrack, MasterShots, Hyperlapse

DJI's full creative suite is built in. MasterShots auto-edits a finished clip in seconds; Hyperlapse turns long flights into stunning compressed sequences.

Palm, Voice, App, Or Remote Control

Fly four ways: palm-launch with no controller, voice commands from your phone, DJI Fly app touch control, or the included DJI RC 2 — featuring a built-in 5.5-inch 1080p 700-nit high-bright screen for full remote operation, no smartphone required.
