Free Your Hands, Free Your Perspective
Like all Hover products, the HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX are designed to be safe, easy, and fun to fly.
Take it out of your pocket, unfold it, and launch an automated flight mode in seconds with the press of a button.
No need for a controller or phone to capture beautiful dynamic shots.
Epic Everything
Go above and beyond professional standards with the X1 PROMAX’s 8K camera powered by a 1/1.3” CMOS and 14 stop of dynamic range. With 4 times more pixels than 4K, you can record epic views in exquisite detail. And for those action shots, the PROMAX shoots in 4K@120fps for those perfect slo-mo moments.
SmoothCapture 2.0.Action-ready, adventure-ready
The PRO and PROMAX both have a two-axis gimbal with EIS (electronic image stabilization) and HL (horizon leveling), so your footage will be rock steady even when the adventure is rough.
Fly fast and follow fast
The X1 PRO and PROMAX are designed to keep up with you no matter your adventure, from our littlest explorers to the professional athletes among us. They boast top follow speeds of up to 26mph (42km/h) and can continue tracking you in short bursts up to 37mph (60km/h).
So what are you waiting for? Let’s go!
The X1 PRO’s 104° FOV lens and the PROMAX’s 107° FOV lens provide extra dynamism in your shots.
Automated Flight Modes
The press of a button. Simply use the selection buttons to select the flight mode you want, press take-off and go!
Classic flight modes like Hover, Zoom Out, Bird’s Eye, and Orbit will capture dynamic cinematic moments, while Follow, Side Follow, and Dolly Track are perfect for action shots. More flight modes are on the roadmap and will be rolled out with future updates.
Select your desired flight mode on the PRO's built-in display to have it launch into the air, capturing high-speed follow shots or performing complex Hollywood-style aerial maneuvers. The PRO is capable of following speeds up to 26 mph, with short bursts of continuous tracking at up to 37 mph. There are 10 built-in modes to choose from, with more available in the future via download.
Dynamic: Hover, Zoom Out, Bird's Eye, and Orbit
Action: Follow, Side Follow, and Dolly Track
Other modes: Snapshot, Smart Control, and Manual
State-of-the-art performance powered by our upgraded SoC
The HOVERAir X1 PROMAX boasts 15 times more NPU power than the HOVERAir X1, powering upgraded AI-based positioning and computer vision tracking algorithms that keep you locked in the frame even at high speeds.
Upgraded Aerodynamics
The X1 PRO and PROMAX feature an upgraded aerodynamic frame design to reduce drag. Our custom-designed motors and propellers balance efficiency and power for higher speeds.
Fly Anywhere
OmniTerrain: water, snow, and cliff ready
The HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX utilize a system of onboard sensors and proprietary sensor fusion for reliable positioning and motion planning on any terrain. Embrace freedom as you take your X1 PRO and PROMAX with you anywhere adventure calls.
Take the X1 PRO and PROMAX with you to the furthest corners of the earth. Both can fly in altitudes up to 18000 feet (5500m) and level 5 wind speeds of up to 24mph (39km/h).
Rear Active Collision Detection
Both the X1 PRO and PROMAX have rear ToF (Time of Flight) proximity sensors while the PROMAX sports an additional visual sensor to keep you even safer. Currently the X1 PRO and PROMAX support braking before collisions in speeds up to 1.5m/s and 3m/s.
Our propellor guards are made of specially engineered HEM (Highly-Elastic Material) to provide maximum elasticity and durability while maintaining structural integrity. It is lighter than carbon fiber with a density of 0.96g/cm³ compared with 1.8g/cm³.
Noise-reducing Propellers
Our custom designed propellers are designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency while minimizing noise.
Factory Reliability Tests
Our devices endure dust, heat, cold, salt, humidity, drops and more to ensure quality and reliability. From being kept in temperatures from -40C to 70C to being dropped 3000 times, these things are tough! The power button is tested 100,000 times and the devices are subjected to 100N of pressure, so you can bet it will keep working!
HOVERAir X1 App
While you don't need a phone to operate the PROMAX, you gain additional functionality when using the HOVERAir X1 mobile app. With it you can configure flight modes, download and share content, launch manual control, and more.
